Job Description: Consultant – MuleSoft Developer

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Consultant – MuleSoft Developer to design, develop, test, and implement integration solutions using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. The candidate will be responsible for developing APIs, integrating enterprise applications, transforming data, and delivering reliable and secure integration solutions. The role requires close collaboration with business analysts, solution architects, QA teams, and other technical stakeholders to meet business and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy APIs and integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform and Mule 4.
• Implement API-led connectivity using System APIs, Process APIs, and Experience APIs.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and SOAP web services for enterprise application integration.
• Build Mule applications using Anypoint Studio and implement data transformations using DataWeave 2.0.
• Integrate applications, databases, and third-party systems using MuleSoft connectors such as HTTP, Database, Salesforce, and other relevant connectors.
• Implement error handling, logging, exception management, and retry mechanisms.
• Configure API security policies, authentication, and authorization mechanisms.
• Deploy and manage Mule applications across CloudHub, CloudHub 2.0, Runtime Fabric, or on-premises environments, as applicable.
• Develop unit and integration test cases using MUnit and ensure code quality.
• Troubleshoot integration issues, perform root cause analysis, and support production deployments.
• Participate in requirement analysis, technical design discussions, effort estimation, and code reviews.
• Prepare technical documentation, API specifications, deployment guides, and support documents.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integration solutions within agreed timelines.
• Follow MuleSoft development standards, security guidelines, and enterprise integration best practices.

Required Technical Skills

• Hands-on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform and Mule 4.
• Good understanding of API-led connectivity and enterprise integration patterns.
• Experience developing REST APIs and integrating SOAP web services.
• Strong knowledge of DataWeave 2.0 for data transformation and mapping.
• Experience with Anypoint Studio, API Manager, Runtime Manager, and Anypoint Exchange.
• Experience with MuleSoft connectors, database integration, and external system connectivity.
• Knowledge of MUnit for unit testing and integration testing.
• Understanding of API security, OAuth 2.0, TLS/SSL, and client ID enforcement.
• Experience with application deployment, monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting.
• Basic understanding of Git, Maven, CI/CD pipelines, and version control.
• Knowledge of JSON, XML, HTTP protocols, and SQL.
