Senior MuleSoft Consultant

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior MuleSoft Consultant to lead the design and delivery of enterprise integration solutions using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. The ideal candidate will combine strong hands-on MuleSoft expertise with consulting, solution design, and client engagement experience to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing API-led integrations.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Architecture & Design

• Design end-to-end integration solutions using API-led connectivity (System, Process, Experience APIs).
• Define architecture patterns, reusable frameworks, and integration standards.
• Lead technical design workshops with client stakeholders.
• Translate complex business requirements into scalable integration architectures.
• Provide technical estimates, risk assessments, and solution roadmaps.

Development & Technical Leadership

• Lead development using Mule 4 and DataWeave 2.0.
• Conduct code reviews and enforce development best practices.
• Optimize performance, scalability, and security of APIs and integrations.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.
• Mentor junior and mid-level MuleSoft developers.

Client Consulting & Stakeholder Management

• Act as primary technical point of contact for clients.
• Conduct discovery sessions and technical assessments.
• Provide integration strategy recommendations aligned with enterprise architecture.
• Support pre-sales activities including solution proposals and demos.
• Communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Deployment & Governance

• Oversee deployments to CloudHub, Runtime Fabric, or hybrid/on-prem environments.
• Implement API governance, security policies (OAuth, JWT, TLS), and monitoring.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise standards and regulatory requirements.
• Provide production support guidance and troubleshooting for critical issues.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 6–10 years of IT experience with 4+ years in MuleSoft development/consulting.
• Strong expertise in Mule 4, DataWeave, REST, SOAP, RAML, and OpenAPI.
• Experience implementing API-led connectivity at enterprise scale.
• Strong understanding of microservices and distributed system architecture.
• Experience integrating SaaS platforms (Salesforce, SAP), databases, and messaging systems.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD, Git, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.

Preferred Qualifications

• MuleSoft Certified Developer (MCD) and/or MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect.
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Exposure to event-driven architecture and Kafka.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Pre-sales or solutioning experience is a strong plus.
