Job Description:   We are looking for an experienced Test Engineer with strong expertise in automation testing, API testing, and database validation. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Selenium and Playwright for UI automation, REST Assured for API automation, and SQL for database testing. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, executing, and maintaining automated test scripts to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of applications.

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver and Playwright.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing of web applications.
  • Develop and execute API automation test scripts using REST Assured with Java.
  • Validate REST APIs, including HTTP methods, status codes, response payloads, headers, and authentication mechanisms.
  • Perform database testing using SQL queries to validate data integrity, accuracy, consistency, and business rules.
  • Validate data flow between APIs, databases, and user interfaces.
  • Identify, document, track, and report defects using defect management tools.
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other QA team members to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
  • Maintain automation frameworks and improve test execution efficiency.
  • Analyze test results, troubleshoot failures, and identify root causes of defects.
  • Participate in test planning, test case design, test execution, and release validation activities.
  • Contribute to improving test automation strategies, frameworks, and quality assurance processes.

Must Have :

 

·      Proven work experience as an SDET, Automation Engineer, or similar role.

·      Extensive experience in UI Automation using Java , Selenium

·      Extensive experience in Playwright

·      Extensive experience in API Automation using RestAssured or similar

·      Strong experience in RESTful APIs and web services.

·      

·      Strong experience in SQL/Oracle.  

·      Strong experience in handling DML/DDL operations, Complex queries using Joins, Stored Procedures

·      Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.

·      Experience with test frameworks such as TestNG or JUnit or similar.

·      Proficiency in working with build tools and version control systems, such as Maven and Git.
