Job Summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Power BI Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of Power BI, data visualization, SQL, and Microsoft Excel. This role is ideal for fresh graduates or professionals looking to start their career in Business Intelligence and Data Analytics.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
• Gather, clean, and transform data from multiple sources.
• Create basic data models and relationships within Power BI.
• Write simple DAX formulas and measures for reporting requirements.
• Connect Power BI to various data sources such as Excel, SQL Server, and CSV files.
• Work with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements.
• Perform data validation and ensure data accuracy in reports.
• Support existing dashboards by troubleshooting and making enhancements.
• Prepare documentation for dashboards, reports, and data sources.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reporting solutions.

Required Skills

• Basic knowledge of Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
• Understanding of data visualization concepts and dashboard design.
• Basic SQL knowledge (SELECT, JOIN, GROUP BY, WHERE clauses).
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas).
• Basic understanding of DAX functions.
• Familiarity with data cleaning and transformation using Power Query is an added advantage.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• Power BI certification or completion of Power BI training/course is a plus.
• Knowledge of relational databases is desirable.
• Basic understanding of ETL concepts is an advantage.

Good to Have

• Exposure to Python or R for data analysis.
• Knowledge of Azure Data Services or Microsoft Fabric (basic awareness).
• Familiarity with Git or version control tools.
