The Team

Enterprise Technology and Performance is a Service Area comprising of Consulting professionals providing various service offerings on Finance, Supply Chain, SAP, Oracle and Project/Program Management.

 

Work you’ll do

 

Ø Design and build multi-page, interactive Power BI dashboards featuring drill-throughs, bookmarks, custom visuals, and role-based filters to deliver tailored, actionable insights for diverse business users.

Ø Develop complex DAX measures, calculated tables, and time-intelligence functions to support dynamic KPI reporting and scenario modeling directly within the Power BI data model.

Ø Leverage Power Query (M-Query) to perform advanced data transformations—such as unpivoting, merging, conditional logic, and parameterization—ensuring source data is cleansed and shaped for optimal dashboard performance.

Ø Configure and maintain on-premises or cloud Power BI Gateways, automate incremental and full refresh schedules, and troubleshoot connectivity issues to guarantee up-to-date reporting.

Ø Optimize report and data model performance through query folding, aggregation tables, star-schema design patterns, and best-practice visuals to minimize load times and enhance user experience.

Ø Partner closely with stakeholders to elicit requirements, design storyboard prototypes, and iterate on layouts and visuals based on user feedback and adoption metrics.

Ø Architect and implement end-to-end ETL pipelines in Azure Data Factory, orchestrating data ingestion, transformation, delivery, error handling, and monitoring for reliable data flows.

Ø Develop and maintain PySpark notebooks on Azure Databricks to execute complex KPI logic, data cleansing, and aggregation workflows, supplemented by SQL scripts to validate ETL outputs and reconcile key metrics.

Ø Provision, secure, and govern data in Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2 via Unity Catalog, managing access controls, data lineage, schema evolution, and audit trails in compliance with organizational policies.

Ø Operate within an Agile/Scrum framework—participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, and retrospectives—and perform root cause analyses to identify data quality and performance issues, implementing preventive measures.

Ø Act as a thought partner in designing analytics and reporting solutions, including advanced developments like AI/ML, NLP/NLG solutions, recommendation engines, chatbots, and virtual assistants.

Ø Maintain comprehensive documentation and user guides for created products.

Ø Follow formal processes for incidents, change requests, deployments, and service requests.

Ø Troubleshoot complex issues, provide root cause analysis, and recommend permanent solutions.

Ø Identify ways to improve data reliability, efficiency, and quality. Create well-designed, testable, and efficient code. Identify bottlenecks and bugs and devise solutions. Ensure processes are documented.

Ø Work in an agile environment with the scrum team, actively participating in daily scrums and sprint planning to meet the needs of business teams by delivering solutions.

Ø Maintain strong collaboration and relationships across the Global Development team, business teams, IT, data modeling, and architecture teams.

Ø Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to uncover actionable insights

Ø Develop dashboards, reports, and presentations for leadership and business teams

Ø Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify trends or anomalies

Ø Support strategic planning through data-driven recommendations

 

Key Skills required:

 

Ø Overall 3-6 years experience of which minimum 5 years must have been on Power BI and Analytics role

Ø Hands on experience in Agile/ Scrum Framework  

Ø Power BI Desktop and Service, DAX, Power Query (M)

Ø Python, Apache PySpark, SQL (T-SQL, ANSI)

Ø Azure Data Factory, Databricks, ADLS Gen2, Unity Catalog, CI/CD tools (Git, Azure DevOps), data modeling, performance tuning

Ø Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Ø Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Ø Adaptability to changing priorities

Ø Collaboration in cross-functional teams

Ø Time management, and a continuous-learning attitude
