Job Summary:

Deloitte is seeking a Consultant with 4-7 years of experience in SAP ABAP development, specializing in RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming) to design and develop modern, cloud-ready SAP applications. The role involves building backend services and APIs that integrate seamlessly with SAP Fiori/UI5 front-end in SAP S/4HANA and SAP Cloud environments.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and extend SAP applications using ABAP RAP framework in S/4HANA and SAP Cloud Platform.
  • Build and consume OData services compliant with RAP for seamless Fiori/UI5 integration.
  • Collaborate with functional and technical teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Design database models, business logic, and service layers using CDS views, BOPF, and RAP concepts.
  • Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support performance optimization.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve RAP application issues and provide support in production environments.
  • Document technical specifications, development guidelines, and best practices.
  • Participate in Agile development processes and contribute to sprint planning and reviews.
  • Assist in knowledge sharing and mentoring junior developers.


Required Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Experience:

  • 3 - 5 years of SAP ABAP development experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience with ABAP RAP framework and OData service development.
  • Knowledge of SAP Fiori/UI5 and SAP S/4HANA architecture.
  • Experience with CDS views, BOPF, and related SAP development techniques.
  • Familiarity with SAP Cloud Platform is an advantage.
  • Experience working in Agile teams.

Preferred Qualifications:
