Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA ABAP Developer with 3–6 years of hands-on experience in ABAP and S/4HANA technologies. The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise in modern ABAP development, performance optimization, and integration techniques, along with the ability to work closely with functional teams to deliver scalable SAP solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and enhance ABAP objects (Reports, Interfaces, Enhancements, Forms, Conversions)
• Work extensively on S/4HANA development including:
• CDS Views (Core Data Services)
• AMDP (ABAP Managed Database Procedures)
• Code pushdown techniques
• Develop and consume OData Services for Fiori/UI5 applications
• Implement and enhance BADIs, User Exits, and Enhancement Framework
• Perform performance tuning using HANA tools (SQL Trace, ST05, SAT, etc.)
• Work on data migration and integration (LSMW / Migration Cockpit / APIs)
• Collaborate with functional consultants (MM, SD, FI, etc.) for requirement gathering
• Ensure code quality, transport management, and documentation
• Support production issues and provide timely resolutions

Required Skills:

• Strong expertise in Core ABAP:
• ALV Reports (OO ALV preferred)
• SmartForms / Adobe Forms
• Interfaces (IDoc, RFC, BAPI)
• Hands-on experience with S/4HANA-specific developments
• Strong knowledge of:
• CDS Views (basic to advanced)
• AMDP
• Open SQL (HANA optimized)
• Experience in Enhancement techniques (BADI, Implicit/Explicit Enhancements)
• Experience in OData development and debugging
• Strong debugging and performance tuning skills

Good to Have Skills:

• Experience with SAP Fiori / SAPUI5
• Knowledge of RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model)
• Exposure to SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform)
• Experience in S/4HANA migration or conversion projects
• Understanding of ABAP on Eclipse (ADT)

Educational Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / IT / Engineering or related field

Soft Skills:

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Good communication and stakeholder management
• Ability to work independently and mentor junior developers
• Proactive and adaptable to new technologies

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• Experience in end-to-end implementation / rollout / support projects
