SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) | VS Code Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, deploy, and maintain cloud-native applications on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) using Visual Studio Code (VS Code) as the primary development environment.
• Utilize SAP BTP services such as Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP), SAP HANA Cloud, and Integration Suite to build scalable enterprise solutions.
• Configure and manage SAP BTP components leveraging VS Code extensions and tools for efficient development workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver end-to-end solutions on SAP BTP.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices using VS Code integrated tools and SAP BTP capabilities.
• Perform unit testing, debugging, and performance tuning of applications developed on SAP BTP.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Maintain technical documentation and assist with solution deployments and support.

Required Skills:

• 2–6 years of experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) development.
• Strong proficiency in Visual Studio Code (VS Code), including SAP extensions and debugging tools.
• Hands-on experience with CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model), Node.js, Java, or ABAP on BTP development.
• Knowledge of SAP BTP services such as HANA Cloud, Integration Suite, Workflow, and API Management.
• Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Git-based version control using VS Code.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in Agile teams.
