Job Title: Consultant – SAP BW on HANA & SAP BusinessObjects

Designation: Consultant

Location: Hyderabad, Mumbai, Bangalore, Delhi

Role Overview

The Consultant will be a hands‑on SAP BW on HANA and SAP BusinessObjects practitioner, working across application development, enhancements, and operational ownership of BI & Analytics solutions.

This role is suited for technically strong consultants who are keen to work on solution build, enhancements, and end‑to‑end ownership, rather than limited ticket‑based support.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance SAP BW on HANA data models, transformations, and data flows
• Build and enhance BEx Queries including calculations, KPIs, and reporting logic
• Support development and enhancement of SAP BusinessObjects reports and schedules
• Participate in requirement analysis and solution design discussions
• Implement functional and technical enhancements independently for assigned scope
• Own resolution of assigned issues end‑to‑end across data, reporting, and process chains
• Troubleshoot data discrepancies, process chain failures, and reporting issues
• Support root cause analysis and implementation of permanent fixes
• Perform unit, integration, and regression testing for changes and releases
• Support deployment and post‑release validation activities
• Maintain technical documentation and knowledge artifacts
• Continuously upskill in BW on HANA design, performance optimization, and analytics best practices

Mandatory Skills & Experience

• 3–5 years of experience in SAP BW on HANA
• Hands‑on experience with:
• BW objects and data flows
• BEx Queries and reporting logic
• Working exposure to SAP BusinessObjects
• Strong analytical aptitude and ownership mindset
• Eduaction - Graduation

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience in enhancement or project delivery engagements
• Basic understanding of BW performance tuning concepts
• Willingness to work across build and run responsibilities as part of solution lifecycle
