Job Description: SAP PI/PO Consultant – CPI Migration

Role Overview

We are seeking an SAP PI/PO Consultant to support the migration of integration interfaces from SAP PI/PO to SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI). The consultant will work under guidance of senior team members and be responsible for development, testing, and support of integration scenarios on CPI.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze existing SAP PI/PO interfaces and understand current integration logic.
• Assist in migrating interfaces from PI/PO to SAP CPI.
• Develop and configure CPI iFlows based on provided design specifications.
• Create and modify message mappings, value mappings, and XSLT as required.
• Configure standard CPI adapters (SOAP, REST, SFTP, IDoc, HTTPS, OData).
• Perform unit testing and support integration and UAT testing.
• Support defect fixing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
• Assist in preparing technical documentation and migration artifacts.
• Provide support during cutover and post–go-live phases.

Required Skills & Experience

• 2–4 years of experience in SAP PI/PO development and support.
• Working knowledge of SAP CPI integration development.
• Understanding of middleware concepts, message processing, and integration patterns.
• Experience with graphical message mapping, XSLT, and basic Java functions.
• Knowledge of SAP adapters such as IDoc, RFC, SOAP, REST, and SFTP.
• Basic understanding of ECC / S/4HANA integration.

Good to Have

• Exposure to PI/PO to CPI migration projects.
• Basic experience with Groovy scripting in CPI.
• Familiarity with CPI monitoring and error handling.
• Knowledge of SAP BTP Integration Suite.

• Ability to work in a team-oriented and deadline-driven environment.
