Your work profile

SAP Functional Analyst with expertise in SAP PP-VC, PLM, and PDR (ECC/S/4HANA), specializing in Variant Configuration, master data, classes, characteristics, and object dependencies. Experienced in translating business requirements into scalable SAP solutions and driving seamless integration across manufacturing and engineering processes.

Required Skills

• 3-5 years of experience in SAP PP-VC, PLM, and PDR (ECC/S/4HANA) with strong cross-functional and cross-module knowledge.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Production Planning, Production Control, or Shop Floor Management environments.
• Strong functional expertise in SAP PP (Production Planning), Material Master, BOM Management, Demand Management, MRP, Production Orders, and Shop Floor Control.
• Hands-on experience in SAP Variant Configuration (VC) including VC Master Data, Classes, Characteristics, Object Dependencies, Configurable Materials, and maintenance of VC Rules & Tables.
• Experience with SAP PLM integration and Product Data Replicator (PDR) for product data management and synchronization.
• Proven experience in at least one full-cycle SAP PP-VC implementation project from requirement gathering to go-live support.
• Strong understanding of production process mapping and aligning business requirements with manufacturing operations.
• Working knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and related manufacturing processes.
• Expertise in cross-module integration with SAP PP, PLM, PDR, S/4HANA, and external enterprise systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and functional consulting skills.

Key Skills Required

• Education: Graduate in any discipline (Minimum 4 academic years)

• Strong hands-on experience in SAP PP-VC, PLM, and PDR with the ability to independently manage PDR postings, issue analysis, troubleshooting, and ruleset maintenance.
• Expertise in PP Master Data Management, including Material Master, BOM, Routing, Production Versions, and transactional data maintenance.
• Experience in business requirement gathering, workshop facilitation, process analysis, and solution design with global stakeholders.
• Knowledge of SAP data migration activities, including master and transactional data migration using SAP tools.
• Strong understanding of SAP compliance, audit controls, information security, and GRC requirements.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional and multicultural teams across India, Europe, and China.
• Experience in end-user training, user support, and knowledge transfer activities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to independently drive issue resolution and continuous process improvements.
• Working knowledge of Siemens Teamcenter, Windchill, or similar PLM tools is an added advantage.
• Proven ability to drive process innovation, cost optimization, operational excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives in manufacturing and engineering environments.
• Candidate should be ready to work on Hybrid mode/onsite from Bengaluru offices
