- Looking for an experienced SAP Datasphere Consultant with strong expertise in designing and developing complex data models including Graphical Views, SQL Views, Analytical Models, and Entity Models.
- Strong SQL scripting skills to implement advanced calculations, restricted measures, filters, variables, and reusable logic within Datasphere.
- Awareness of performance optimization strategies such as partitioning, indexing, query optimization, pruning, and effective modeling techniques; experience in debugging and troubleshooting Datasphere data modeling issues.
- Experience in integrating Datasphere with SAP and non-SAP systems (e.g., S/4HANA, ECC, BW/4HANA, CRM, and third-party databases) for heterogeneous data consumption and reporting purposes.
- Hands-on experience with data provisioning and integration tools like SDI, SDA, SLT, or Cloud Connectors for replication, transformation, and data loading.
- Ability to make solution design decisions – selecting appropriate Datasphere artifacts (Views, Data Flows, Business Entities) based on business requirements and following SAP best practices.
- Exposure to reporting/consumption tools such as SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), Analysis for Office (AFO), or Power BI for representing Datasphere data models.
- Experience with transport management and lifecycle management of Datasphere artifacts across different landscapes.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and client-facing skills, with the ability to work independently and in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Good to have: Experience in Business Builder for semantic modeling, and designing models tailored for SAC planning or analytics use cases.
