Your work profile

 

The primary role is to make immediate, direct contributions to enhancing our clients’ competitive position and performance in ways that are distinctive, innovative, and sustainable.

To do this, one must perform the following activities within the firm:

 

 

SAP Datasphere Professional should have:

 

Technical Skills:

•      Must have work experience in S4 Hana implementation.

•      Excellent understanding & experience in Core Data Services (CDS), Analytics, Data Modelling, Analytical CDS development, Multidimensional Report, ABAP Managed Database Procedures (AMDP).

•      Good understanding of the three-tier development approach and ABAP RAP framework for Analytics.

•      Strong hold on various concepts of Datasphere

 

Hands on experience in:

•      Developing CDS Views using UI and Analytical annotations, Associations & Joins, Aggregations, and Roles & Authorization

•      Developing CDS Extraction Views with Change Data Capture capabilities

•      ODP Extraction experience

•      Experience in Replication Flows, Local/Remote Tables, Graphical and SQL View building, Data Access Control, Analytical Model and exposing to SAC

•      Good Understanding in Entity Relationship Modelling, OLAP modeling and LSA+ architecture

 

Work experience / Good understanding in:

•      Working experience with S4 Extensibility Apps such as Custom CDS view, Custom Analytical Query, Manage KPI & reports.

•      Working experience in Datasphere

•      Good Understanding in creating Task Chains 

•      Optimizing Report performance and understanding of various performance tuning techniques is required.

•      Debugging/Analyzing CDS Views

•      Strong hold on various concepts of Data Warehousing, Star Schema modeling, Historical trend reporting, Time Dimensions

 

Generic Soft Skills and Experience:

•      Location: Bangalore

•      Minimum 4 to 7 years' experience

•      Strong analytical skill and Team player with good stakeholder management.

•      Good Design Thinking capabilities with lean processes.

•      Must have worked on Agile development and familiar with Scrum methodology.

•      Attention to detail and maintaining effective communication among different stakeholders are critical for this job.

•      Good communication skills.

•      Candidate should be flexible to work in shift if demanded by the project.

•      Candidate should be able to do quality review of the code and provide feedback to colleagues on their objects.

 

Desired qualifications 

  • Graduate degree (Science or Engineering) from premier institutes. 

  • Willingness to travel for short and long term durations. 

  • Strong communication skills (written & verbal). 

 

Location and way of working 

  • Base location: Bangalore

  • This profile involves occasional travelling to client locations OR this profile does not involve extensive travel for work.
