Job Title:  Consultant | Strategy & Transformation-APS functional | Bengaluru | Supply Chain & Network Operation

About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated Business Consultant – Advanced Planning Solutions (APS) to join our consulting team. In this role, you will enable clients to design, implement, and optimize supply chain planning solutions across industries such as cement, steel, automotive, semiconductor, and process manufacturing. You will act as a trusted advisor, translating business requirements into effective processes and system solutions that improve efficiency, agility, and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with client stakeholders to understand priorities, challenges, and current planning processes.
• Supports workshops, requirement gathering, and solution design sessions.
• Deliver end-to-end APS implementations across demand planning, supply planning, production scheduling, inventory optimization, order promising, and integrated business planning.
• Configure and deploy APS platforms such as Blue Yonder (BY), Kinaxis, SAP IBP or O9, ensuring seamless integration with ERP systems.
• Conduct scenario modeling, what-if analysis, and optimization to support decision-making.
• Prepare solution documentation, training, and change management materials.
• Support project management activities—scope, timelines, risks, and stakeholder communication.
• Analyze processes and recommend improvements to drive measurable value in areas like forecast accuracy, inventory turns, and service levels.
• Contribute to knowledge development, best practices, and team mentoring.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8–12 years of experience in supply chain planning or advanced planning solutions consulting.
• Strong knowledge of domains such as demand forecasting, supply network planning, production scheduling, and order promising.
• Hands-on experience with APS tools (BY ESP/OP/SCPO, Kinaxis Rapid Response, or O9).
• Familiarity with ERP platforms such as SAP ECC/S4HANA or Oracle.
• Strong client engagement, facilitation, and communication skills.
• Analytical mindset with ability to manage ambiguity and deliver under tight deadlines.
• Exposure to SaaS/cloud-based planning solutions and integration preferred.

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field.
• MBA or Master’s in Supply Chain/Operations Research/Analytics preferred.
• Certifications such as APICS CPIM, CSCP, or equivalent are a plus.

• Delivery of APS projects on time, within scope, and with measurable business impact.
• Improved client KPIs such as forecast accuracy, OTIF, and inventory optimization.
• High client satisfaction and repeat engagements.
• Contribution to practice development and mentoring of junior consultants.

Travel & Location

• Willingness to travel (20–60%) based on project needs.
