Job Title:  Consultant | TOSCA automation | Bengaluru | Engineering

Role Summary

We are looking for a TOSCA Automation Consultant with strong experience in model-based test automation using Tricentis Tosca. The consultant will be responsible for designing, developing, executing, and maintaining automated test solutions across web, API, SAP, and enterprise applications, while guiding teams on best practices and automation strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Test Automation Design & Development

• Design and develop end-to-end automated test cases using Tosca Model-Based Automation
• Create and maintain:
• Modules
• TestCases
• TestCaseDesign (TCD)
• Test Configuration & ExecutionLists
• Implement reusable, maintainable, and scalable automation frameworks in Tosca
• Automate Web, API (REST/SOAP), SAP GUI, and Desktop applications

Test Execution & Defect Management

• Execute automated regression, smoke, and sanity test suites
• Analyze failures and perform root cause analysis
• Log, track, and retest defects using tools like JIRA / ALM
• Support SIT, UAT, and Regression cycles

API & Integration Testing

• Automate API testing using:
• Tosca API Scan
• REST & SOAP services
• Validate request/response payloads, headers, authentication, and error handling
• Integrate API automation with UI and backend flows

SAP Automation (If Applicable)

• Automate SAP applications including:
• SAP ECC / S/4HANA
• SAP Fiori
• Work with SAP modules such as MM, SD, FI, CO
• Handle dynamic SAP objects and synchronization challenges

CI/CD & DevOps Integration

• Integrate Tosca execution with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins / Azure DevOps)
• Configure unattended execution using Tosca Distributed Execution (DEX)
• Support automation execution as part of DevOps pipelines

Test Data & Environment Management

• Implement test data management strategies using:
• Tosca TDM
• Excel / DB connectors
• Manage test environments and execution readiness
• Coordinate with Dev, QA, and Business teams

Quality Strategy & Consulting

• Participate in automation strategy definition
• Provide effort estimation and automation feasibility analysis
• Guide manual testers in transitioning to automation
• Conduct knowledge transfer and best practice sessions

Required Skills

Must-Have

• 4–8 years of testing experience with 2–4 years in Tosca
• Strong hands-on experience with:
• Tosca Modules & TestCases
• TCD, Templates, Reusability concepts
• Experience in Web & API automation
• Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum
• Defect management and reporting experience
