Your Work Profile

• Identify and resolve complex Tableau performance, scalability, and platform architecture issues.
• Govern enterprise Self-Service BI (SSBI) environments by enforcing Tableau best practices.
• Manage Tableau Server/Cloud environments, including users, groups, projects, security permissions, and workbook deployment.
• Troubleshoot data connectivity issues between Tableau and SAP BO / SAP BW on HANA environments.
• Perform root cause analysis for dashboard performance bottlenecks, server timeouts, extract refresh failures, and Row-Level Security (RLS) conflicts.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and design reporting and analytics solutions.
• Coordinate with SAP data engineering teams to align Tableau visualization requirements with SAP BW models and BEx queries.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, test cases, and data lineage documentation.
• Support UAT, production deployments, and ongoing application maintenance activities.

Key Skills Required

• Education: Any Bachelor's or Master's degree.
• 3-10 years of experience in Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server/Cloud/Online administration and development.
• Strong expertise in creating advanced Tableau dashboards and interactive visualizations.
• Experience managing Tableau security, permissions, users, groups, and project structures.
• Strong SQL skills and sound understanding of RDBMS concepts.
• Ability to troubleshoot data issues and trace data discrepancies from dashboards to source systems.
• Experience integrating Tableau with enterprise data platforms and semantic layers.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience documenting technical issues and collaborating with backend engineering teams.
