Your work profile

The OpenText Architect provides end‑to‑end ownership of the OpenText ECM landscape, covering architecture, development governance, AMS escalation, and platform strategy.

This role acts as the technical authority ensuring stability, scalability, compliance, and continuous improvement of OpenText platforms.

Key skills required: 

• Platform Architecture & Technical Leadership
• Define and maintain enterprise architecture for:
• OpenText Content Server (OTCS / OTCM)
• OpenText Archive Center (OTAC)
• xECM for SAP Solutions
• Ensure platform scalability, high availability, and performance.
• Govern customization standards and development best practices.
• AMS L3 Ownership & Escalation

• Own L3 support accountability for OpenText platforms.
• Lead resolution of:
• Critical production incidents
• Complex data corruption and workflow failures
• Cross‑platform integration issues
• Perform deep root cause analysis and preventive measures.
• Review and validate fixes delivered by L2 teams.
• Development & Integration Governance

• Define integration architecture involving:
• SAP ECC / BW / BI
• Salesforce, ServiceNow
• Enterprise MDM and custom platforms
• Govern use of:
• AnswerModules Suite
• GCI Power Tools
• VILT, IRIS, Syntergy solutions
• Approve significant development changes and deployments.
• Information Governance & Compliance

• Lead governance for:
• Records Management and Retention
• Classification and lifecycle models
• Regulatory compliance (GDPR, local data protection)
• Ensure audit readiness and compliance alignment.
•  Security, Identity & Risk Management

• Define and govern:
• OTDS architecture
• Role‑based access control models
• Integration with Entra ID / LDAP and SAML
• Support security assessments and remediation initiatives.
•  Stakeholder & Program Leadership

• Act as primary technical point of contact for:
• Enterprise Architecture
• Security and Compliance
• SAP CoE
• Business owners
• Mentor senior engineers and AMS support teams.
• Support roadmap planning, modernization, and migrations.
• Expert‑level OpenText Content Server and xECM

• OpenText Archive Center & SAP Archiving
• Advanced integration architecture (API, REST, messaging)
• Enterprise IAM and security architecture
• Performance tuning and capacity planning
• Strong AMS and ITIL process understanding
• 10+ years of OpenText ECM experience

• Proven ownership of large-scale AMS engagements
• Strong leadership, communication, and governance skills
• Experience operating in regulated, multi‑region environments
• Education-Any Bachelors
