Your Work Profile

We are seeking an experienced Storage Administrator – Senior Consultant to manage and optimize enterprise storage environments. This role focuses on block and file storage administration, SAN/NAS operations, replication, performance tuning, and high availability, ensuring storage platforms deliver reliability and efficiency for business-critical workloads. Key Responsibilities Storage Platform Administration

• Dell, IBM, NetApp C series/FAS, Brocade & HP SAN switches, File Storage

• Administer enterprise storage platforms including: o IBM Storage, Dell Storage, NetApp C-Series/FAS, HP SAN switches, and Brocade SAN switches.

• Perform storage provisioning, configuration, replication, snapshot management, and performance optimization.

• Manage both block (FC/iSCSI) and file (NFS/CIFS) storage environments.

• Monitor capacity, usage, and health of storage arrays; plan for growth and lifecycle upgrades. SAN & File Storage Operations

• Configure zoning, LUN mapping, multipathing, and access control for servers and users.

• Implement and manage replication strategies (synchronous/asynchronous) for critical workloads.

• Perform file system provisioning, quota management, and backup/restore operations.

• Monitor storage performance metrics and troubleshoot IOPS, throughput, and latency issues. High Availability & Disaster Recovery

• Participate in the implementation of HA and DR strategies for storage platforms.

• Support failover testing, disaster recovery exercises, and ensure recovery objectives are met.

• Collaborate with server, network, database, and application teams to maintain end-to-end availability. Automation, Monitoring & Reporting

• Automate storage administration tasks using scripting (PowerShell, Python, CLI tools) where applicable.

• Maintain monitoring dashboards and generate reports for capacity, performance, and SLA compliance.

• Proactively identify performance or capacity issues and recommend improvements. Documentation & Collaboration

• Maintain SOPs, configuration documentation, and architecture diagrams.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support storage integration with applications, virtualization, and cloud platforms.

• Support change management, incident resolution, and periodic storage audits. Required Skills • Hands-on expertise with IBM Storage, Dell Storage, NetApp C-Series/FAS.

Key Skills Required

• Education – Bachelor's or Master’s in Engineering.
• Strong experience with Brocade/HP SAN switches and storage networking (zoning, LUN masking, multipathing).
• Proficient in file storage provisioning, replication, snapshot management, access control, and performance tuning.
• Solid understanding of backup/recovery processes, HA solutions, and DR concepts.
• Experience with storage monitoring, capacity planning, and troubleshooting storage performance issues.
• Scripting/automation skills using PowerShell, Python, or CLI tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; ability to handle escalated L2/L3 incidents. Experience
• 7+ years of experience in enterprise storage administration.
• Hands-on experience managing SAN/NAS storage systems in production environments.
• Exposure to ITIL-based processes such as Incident, Change, and Problem Management.

Good to Have

• Storage certifications (NetApp NCDA/NCIE, IBM Certified Specialist, Dell EMC Proven Professional).

• Familiarity with cloud storage solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP) or software-defined storage (SDS).

• Knowledge of virtualization storage platforms like VMware vSAN or hyper-converged infrastructure (HCI).
