Job Overview

This role is expected to demonstrate high proficiency in system knowledge/configuration, problem solving, process/data analysis, and communication skills. This role will work collaboratively across teams to provide recommendations on aligning technical solutions to business opportunities.

Job Responsibilities

•      Serve as HR data subject matter expert (SME) and provide consultation for integration intake and PRISM related work

•      Design, develop, and manage Workday PRISM solutions including data ingestion, data pipelines, transformation, and aggregation processes

•      Partner with the stakeholders (ex. Reporting team) and provide consultation on Prism to provide usage recommendations

•      Lead data requirement gathering sessions and translate them into actionable Workday PRISM reports and dashboards

•      Translate requirements into technical documents and specifications

•      Ensure appropriate enforcement and governance of the HR security model and classifications

•      Create complex Calculated Fields and Reports in Workday to support PRISM, Integrations, and data needs.

•      Create Workday Report and Dashboard solutions such as Discovery Boards, Advanced, Matrix, and Composite reports

•      Ensure seamless integration between Workday PRISM and external data sources and partner with engineers and architects to build sustainable connections

•      Understand, document, and communicate timelines and priorities to business partners

•      Stay current on Workday PRISM enhancements, releases, and industry best practices

•      Manage quality assurance, testing, and training of PRISM data sources

•      Establish and maintain governance around Prism data sources, calc fields, security, usage, etc.

Education & Experience

•      Bachelor’s degree in CIS (Computer Information Systems) or MIS (Management Information Systems) preferred

•      Minimum years of related experience required: 3+ supporting/delivering PRISM solutions and 5+ years of Workday Reporting experience

•      Preferred years of related experience: 5+ supporting/delivering PRISM solutions and 7+ years of Workday Reporting experience

 

Minimum Qualifications

•      Strong understanding of Workday Business Processes and Data, Workday Security, and Workday Reporting

•      Experience in data transformation, data modeling, and ETL processes within Workday PRISM

•      Hands-on experience with complex Workday calculated fields, composite reports, and dashboards

•      Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with effective verbal and written communication and the ability to influence

•      Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail

•      High integrity, sound judgment and discretion regarding confidential information

Preferred Qualifications

•      Workday Prism Analytics Certification

•      Lead on multiple Workday PRISM projects with experience ingesting, transforming, and securing data

•      Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)

•      Expert level of experience with Calculated Fields, Workday Advanced Reports, Discovery Boards, Dashboards
