Your work profile
• Lead end-to-end Private Cloud strategy, architecture, and delivery governance for enterprise-scale infrastructure transformation programs.
• Define and drive Private Cloud reference architectures, SDDC blueprints, and platform standardization strategies aligned with business and technology goals.
• Architect and implement Software-Defined Data Center (SDDC) solutions leveraging technologies such as VMware NSX, VMware vSAN, Cisco ACI, and Nutanix platforms.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, networking, security, and application teams to deliver scalable, resilient, and secure private cloud environments.
• Lead workload discovery, infrastructure assessments, capacity planning, cost modeling (TCO/ROI), and hardware sizing exercises for enterprise transformation initiatives.
• Design enterprise compute clusters, storage architectures (SAN, HCI, Object Storage), advanced networking topologies, SDN/micro-segmentation frameworks, and container platforms.
• Define and implement enterprise Backup, Disaster Recovery (DR), and Business Continuity Planning (BCP) strategies across multi-site environments.
• Drive automation-first infrastructure initiatives using Infrastructure as Code (IaC), orchestration, and configuration management tools including Ansible, Terraform, and Kubernetes.
• Lead modernization initiatives integrating hybrid cloud, containerization, and cloud-native platforms including Red Hat OpenShift.
• Oversee proof-of-concepts, pilot deployments, architecture reviews, and full-scale SDDC implementations for enterprise customers.
• Provide presales consulting, technical solutioning, proposal development, effort estimation, and customer advisory support.
• Establish operational governance frameworks aligned with SRE and ITIL best practices to improve reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency.
• Mentor delivery and engineering teams, conduct design reviews, and ensure adherence to enterprise architecture standards and security compliance.
• Drive customer engagement and act as a trusted advisor for infrastructure transformation, cloud modernization, and private cloud adoption strategies.
Key skills required
• 10–15 years of overall IT infrastructure experience with strong expertise in Private Cloud and SDDC architecture.
• 5+ years of experience in architecture, consulting, and enterprise infrastructure transformation programs.
• Deep expertise in:
• Software-Defined Data Center (SDDC) and Private Cloud architecture
• Enterprise virtualization platforms
• Storage performance engineering and architecture
• Advanced networking, SDN, and micro-segmentation
• Kubernetes and OpenShift container platforms
• Backup, Disaster Recovery (DR), and Business Continuity Planning (BCP)
• Infrastructure security hardening and compliance frameworks
• Strong experience with enterprise-scale implementations supporting 500+ virtual machines and multi-petabyte environments.
• Expertise in compute, storage, networking, hybrid cloud, and infrastructure modernization strategies.
• Strong solutioning, customer consulting, stakeholder management, and presales engagement capabilities.
• Experience in automation and orchestration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and DevOps methodologies.
• Strong financial modeling, capacity planning, TCO analysis, and infrastructure sizing capabilities.
• Ability to lead complex enterprise transformation programs and multi-functional infrastructure teams.
• Strong analytical, governance, problem-solving, and communication skills.
