The team
Engineering Team must do much more than keep the wheels turning; it is the engine that drives functional excellence and the enabler of innovation and long-term growth.
Your work profile
• Define Private Cloud reference architecture and blueprints aligned to enterprise strategy.
• Lead evaluation and integration of SDDC technologies such as VMware NSX, VMware vSAN, Cisco ACI, Nutanix, and related platforms.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, network, security, and application teams to implement SDDC strategies aligned with business goals.
• Create architecture standards, blueprints, and best practices for Private Cloud and SDDC deployment and management.
• Drive automation and orchestration initiatives using tools like Ansible, Terraform, and Kubernetes.
• Assess existing data center environments and recommend transformation plans to software-defined infrastructure.
• Oversee proof-of-concepts, pilot programs, and large-scale implementations of SDDC components.
• Perform workload discovery, capacity modelling, cost modelling (TCO/ROI), and hardware sizing.
• Architect compute clusters, storage solutions (SAN/HCI/Object), and advanced network designs (leaf-spine, SDN, micro-segmentation).
• Define backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies across multi-site environments.
• Lead multi-site DR and BCP architecture and implementation.
• Provide pre-sales support, solutioning, and proposal development for Private Cloud engagements.
• Drive Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and automation-first approaches across platforms.
• Standardize operational frameworks including SRE and ITIL-based practices.
• Mentor delivery teams, review technical designs, and ensure adherence to standards.
• Drive modernization initiatives and hybrid cloud integration strategies.
Key skills required
• 15+ yrs years of experience in IT infrastructure with strong expertise in Private Cloud and SDDC architecture.
• Deep expertise in enterprise virtualization platforms, storage performance engineering, and advanced networking/SDN.
• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes/OpenShift platforms and container ecosystems.
• Expertise in backup, disaster recovery, business continuity planning, and security hardening.
• Proven experience in solutioning, customer consulting, and leading large-scale implementations (500+ VM / multi-PB environments).
• Strong financial and capacity modelling skills (TCO/ROI, sizing, optimization).
• Automation-first mindset with experience in Terraform, Ansible, and related tools.
• Strong collaboration and stakeholder management across business and technical teams.
• Experience in architecture and consulting roles for at least 5+ years.You bring you
