Your work profile
- Own end-to-end Private Cloud strategy, architecture design, and delivery governance across large enterprise environments.
- Define Private Cloud reference architecture, standards, and reusable blueprints.
- Lead evaluation, selection, and integration of Software-Defined Data Center (SDDC) technologies including VMware NSX, VMware vSAN, Cisco ACI, Nutanix, and other relevant platforms.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, network, security, and application teams to implement SDDC strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Develop architecture blueprints, design standards, and best practices for SDDC deployment and operations.
- Drive automation and orchestration initiatives using tools such as Ansible, Terraform, and Kubernetes-based platforms.
- Assess existing data center environments and define transformation roadmaps toward software-defined infrastructure.
- Oversee proof-of-concepts, pilot implementations, and enterprise-scale SDDC deployments.
- Perform workload discovery, capacity modeling, TCO/ROI analysis, and hardware sizing for infrastructure planning.
- Design end-to-end architecture covering compute clusters, storage (SAN/HCI/Object), network (leaf-spine/SDN/micro-segmentation), backup & disaster recovery, container platforms, and security/compliance controls.
- Lead multi-site disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity planning (BCP) architecture.
- Provide pre-sales support, solutioning, and customer-facing proposal development.
- Define automation-first strategies based on Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
- Standardize operational frameworks aligned with SRE and ITIL practices.
- Mentor delivery teams and conduct architecture/design reviews.
- Drive cloud modernization and hybrid cloud integration initiatives
Key skills required
- Deep expertise in Software-Defined Data Center (SDDC) and Private Cloud architecture.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise virtualization platforms.
- Expertise in storage architecture and performance engineering.
- Advanced networking knowledge including SDN and micro-segmentation.
- Experience with Kubernetes and OpenShift container platforms.
- Strong understanding of backup, disaster recovery, and BCP strategies.
- Security hardening and compliance implementation experience.
- Strong solutioning, consulting, and customer engagement skills.
- Experience delivering large-scale environments (500+ VMs, multi-PB storage systems).
- Financial modeling, capacity planning, and infrastructure sizing expertise.
- Automation-first mindset with strong IaC adoption experience
