The team

Engineering Team must do much more than keep the wheels turning; it is the engine that drives functional excellence and the enabler of innovation and long-term growth.

Your work profile

• Define and execute strategic vision for engineering delivery across multiple teams, programs, or accounts.
• Establish and enforce software development standards, governance policies, and SDLC processes.
• Act as the primary liaison between engineering teams, executive leadership, clients, and product stakeholders.
• Monitor delivery metrics (velocity, quality, burn-down) and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Identify risks, technical dependencies, and financial challenges, implementing mitigation strategies proactively.
• Build, mentor, and scale high-performing engineering teams, including managing managers and global delivery units.
• Manage budgets, resource allocation, and financial performance across projects or departments.
• Drive Agile transformation and ensure adoption of best practices across delivery teams.
• Oversee end-to-end delivery lifecycle, ensuring quality, timelines, and customer satisfaction.
• Lead governance forums, executive reviews, and strategic planning discussions.
• Ensure alignment of engineering delivery with business goals and customer outcomes.
• Drive operational excellence through standardization, automation, and performance optimization.
• Enable cross-functional collaboration across engineering, product, and business teams.
• Establish KPIs, reporting frameworks, and delivery dashboards for leadership visibility.
• Champion continuous improvement culture across engineering and delivery organizations.

Key skills required

• 12–15+ years of experience in software development, engineering delivery, or program management.
• Minimum 5+ years in senior leadership roles (Engineering Manager / Director / Delivery Head).
• Strong expertise in Agile methodologies including Scrum, Kanban, and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
• Deep understanding of modern architectures including microservices and distributed systems.
• Hands-on familiarity with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and engineering productivity tools.
• Proven experience in stakeholder management, client engagement, and executive communication.
• Expertise in delivery governance, SDLC processes, and quality assurance frameworks.
• Strong financial acumen including budgeting, forecasting, and resource optimization.
• Experience managing large-scale, distributed, and multi-team delivery environments.
• Strong leadership, mentoring, and organizational development capabilities.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Preferred certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or ITIL.
