Job Summary:

As a Director in Deloitte’s GenAI practice, you will spearhead the development and deployment of cutting-edge generative AI solutions, driving innovation and business transformation for clients across industries. You will lead cross-functional teams, shape AI strategies, and ensure the delivery of scalable, responsible, and impactful AI initiatives aligned with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the strategic vision and execution of generative AI (GenAI) initiatives across Deloitte and client organizations.
  • Drive innovation in AI by leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs), generative models, and related AI technologies to solve complex business problems.
  • Oversee the design, development, and implementation of scalable GenAI solutions and frameworks.
  • Collaborate with clients, partners, and internal teams to identify AI opportunities and develop tailored AI strategies.
  • Ensure ethical AI practices, governance, and compliance in all GenAI projects.
  • Build and mentor high-performing teams of AI experts, data scientists, and engineers.
  • Represent Deloitte as a thought leader in AI through industry forums, conferences, and publications.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships at senior levels and drive business growth through AI service offerings.

Required Qualifications:

Education:

  • Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or related field.

Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience in AI/ML, with significant exposure to generative AI and LLMs.
  • Proven leadership experience managing large-scale AI projects and teams.
  • Strong background in AI strategy development and execution.

Skills:

  • Expertise in AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.) and programming languages such as Python.
  • Deep understanding of NLP, large language models, and generative AI technologies.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and AI infrastructure.
  • Excellent strategic thinking, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong focus on responsible AI, ethics, and compliance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in consulting or professional services firms.
  • Track record of driving AI innovation and business transformation.
  • Familiarity with emerging AI technologies and industry trends.
  • Strong publication or patent record in AI or related fields is a plus.
