The team
The Deloitte South Asia strategic growth team serves as a central pillar driving growth and transformation within DSA, spanning several business lines and various technology functions. We are established as a centralized team collaborating across consulting, implementation, and operation to maintain and enhance client value offerings and services. We innovate conventional approaches, leveraging Deloitte technology, differentiated domain expertise, intellectual property, talent, and capacity to embed continuous advantage and deliver enhanced business value.
In this team, our focus is on catering to the unique needs and preferences of clients in the South Asia region. Your role within this dynamic team is essential for establishing networks and relationships across the client stakeholder ecosystem and ensuring service fulfillment. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with other Deloitte leadership and stakeholders dedicated to the client. Your contributions will involve nurturing new and existing relationships, supporting presales life cycles, and playing a pivotal role in driving the success of DSA business growth for the specific client.

- Key responsibilities include developing innovative solutions, advising clients on digital transformation with SAP technologies, building strong client relationships, and leveraging deep expertise in specific SAP modules.

· Provide strategic leadership for complex client engagements.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with senior clients and stakeholders.
· Ensure the successful and timely delivery of SAP projects, driving value for the client.
· Business Development & Growth:
· Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the SAP landscape.
· Collaborate with clients to define business cases and develop innovative solutions.
· Contribute to the expansion of Deloitte's SAP practice by showcasing capabilities and thought leadership.
· Technical & Functional Expertise:
· Possess deep expertise in specific SAP modules.
· Understand and advise on the strategic implications of SAP offerings for different industry verticals.
· Stay abreast of new SAP capabilities, such as SAP S/4 HANA, and guide clients in adopting these technologies for digital transformation.
· Team Leadership & Collaboration:
· Lead and mentor diverse teams, fostering a collaborative and motivated work environment.
· Develop diverse capabilities within the team and encourage continuous learning and skill development.

· Project Management & Financial:
· JD involves leading large-scale SAP projects, from financial planning and budgeting to risk management, stakeholder communication, and ensuring successful delivery within scope and timelines.
· Key responsibilities include creating comprehensive project plans, managing project finances, coordinating teams, resolving issues, and reporting to senior leadership.
· Qualifications typically require a strong background in SAP project management, with deep knowledge of financial processes and excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
· Project Planning & Strategy: Develop, execute, and finalize SAP projects according to strict deadlines and budget, working closely with senior management and stakeholders to define project scope.
· Financial Management: Manage project budgets, control costs, and ensure projects are financially viable.
· Resource Management: Coordinate project resources, including team members and third-party consultants, to ensure efficient allocation and utilization.
· Change Management: Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs, using appropriate verification techniques
· Quality Assurance: Ensure that all project deliverables meet high-quality standards and align with business requirements.
Desired qualifications
· Extensive Experience: Generally requires significant years of experience in the SAP domain, often ranging from 10 to over 20 years for Director-level positions.
· Proven Implementation Success: Experience in leading multiple end-to-end SAP implementation projects.
· Educational Background: A bachelor's or graduate degree in Commerce, Science, or Engineering from a premier institution is often preferred.
· Soft Skills: Strong analytical, communication (written and verbal), influencing, and collaboration skills are crucial.
· Domain Expertise: In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in key SAP modules and functionalities.

- On-call / weekend support during critical activities (upgrades, cutovers)
