Your work profile

  • Lead the OMS Technology Strategy & Architecture function, defining the enterprise vision, architecture roadmap, and modernization strategy for Order Management Systems.
  • Drive large-scale OMS transformation initiatives, including Distributed Order Management (DOM), omnichannel fulfillment, inventory visibility, customer order orchestration, and returns management.
  • Build and manage executive-level stakeholder relationships, partnering with Business, Product, Supply Chain, Store Operations, Digital Commerce, and Engineering teams to deliver business-aligned OMS solutions.
  • Define enterprise architecture standards, governance frameworks, and technology best practices across the OMS landscape.
  • Lead architecture reviews, technology evaluations, solution design, and platform selection for OMS and enterprise integrations.
  • Oversee integration architecture across OMS, ERP, WMS, TMS, CRM, eCommerce, POS, and marketplace platforms using API-first and event-driven architecture principles.
  • Drive cloud adoption, platform modernization, microservices architecture, and enterprise integration initiatives to enhance scalability and operational efficiency.
  • Provide strategic leadership to enterprise architects, engineering teams, and delivery organizations while fostering architectural excellence and innovation.
  • Influence executive leadership through technology roadmaps, business cases, architecture recommendations, and strategic transformation initiatives.

Key skills required

  • 15–20 years of experience in Retail, eCommerce, Supply Chain, or Order Management technology leadership.
  • Proven experience leading enterprise-scale OMS transformation, modernization, and architecture programs.
  • Deep expertise in Order Management Systems (OMS), Distributed Order Management (DOM), and omnichannel commerce architecture.
  • Strong understanding of Order Orchestration, Inventory Management, Fulfillment Optimization, Returns Management, and Customer Experience journeys.
  • Hands-on experience designing enterprise-scale integrations using APIs, Microservices, Messaging Platforms, and Event-Driven Architectures.
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture, cloud platforms (Azure/AWS), integration patterns, security, scalability, and performance optimization.
  • Experience with OMS platforms such as IBM Sterling OMS, Manhattan Active Omni, Fluent Commerce, Oracle OMS, SAP Order Management, or Salesforce OMS.
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture frameworks such as TOGAF and architecture governance best practices.
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, strategic planning, and executive communication skills.
  • Experience leading consulting-led transformation programs, managing global delivery teams, and driving enterprise technology initiatives is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
