Your work profile
We are seeking an experienced Anaplan Analyst with strong expertise in hands-on Anaplan model building and solution delivery. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders and functional teams to translate requirements into scalable, efficient, and sustainable Anaplan solutions that support financial, operational, and strategic planning processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, build, and deployment of Anaplan models across various business functions (Finance, Operations, Sales, Workforce, etc.).
- Work directly with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into technical Anaplan model designs.
- Develop, optimize, and maintain complex Anaplan models, including modules, lists, hierarchies, workflows, and dashboards.
- Ensure solutions adhere to Anaplan best practices around sparsity, performance, security, and scalability.
- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for Anaplan within the organization, guiding junior model builders and end-users.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Finance, HR, IT, Operations) to support planning cycles and ongoing enhancements.
- Support data integration efforts between Anaplan and other systems (ERP, HRIS, CRM, etc.).
- Provide user training, documentation, and post-implementation support.
- Contribute to governance, model lifecycle management, and process improvement initiatives.
Key skills required
Desired skills and work experience
- Anaplan Level L3 or above, with proven ability to handle complex model-building independently.
- Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of hands-on Anaplan model building across multiple use cases.
- Strong understanding of Anaplan architecture, calculation logic, model optimization, and ALM (Application Lifecycle Management).
- Proficiency in building and maintaining lists, modules, dashboards, workflows, user security, and model integrations.
- Experience in data modeling, scenario planning, forecasting, and what-if analysis.
- Ability to partner with stakeholders, interpret requirements, and deliver solutions that balance business needs with best practice design.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Desired qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Engineering, Statistics, Finance, or a related field (required) OR Commerce.
- Master’s degree in Data Science, Analytics, Business Intelligence, or related discipline (preferred, not mandatory).
- Anaplan Level 2 Model Builder certification (Level 3 Master Anaplanner strongly preferred)
- Exposure to Anaplan Connect, APIs, CloudWorks, or ETL tools for integrations.
- Experience working in a professional services, financial services, or large enterprise environment.
