Your work profile

Seeking a highly skilled Senior Developer / Architect with strong full-stack engineering and cloud-native experience to design, build, and scale enterprise-grade digital solutions.

This role combines hands-on development with solution architecture, focusing on building secure, scalable, and reusable services using Python, Node.js, REST APIs, and modern frontend technologies. You will drive engineering excellence, support platform modernization, and enable automation-first, API-driven architectures aligned with Shell’s digital and IT strategy.

You will work closely with product owners, platform leads, enterprise architects, and operations teams to deliver high-quality, resilient solutions with a strong emphasis on CI/CD, DevOps, and cloud-native principles.

 Key skills required

1. Solution Architecture & Design

• Define end-to-end architecture for enterprise applications (frontend, backend, integration, and deployment layers).
• Design API-first, microservices-based architectures ensuring scalability, security, and reusability.
• Align designs with enterprise standards, including security, compliance, and cloud architecture patterns.

2. Full Stack Development

• Develop and maintain applications using:
• Backend: Python, Node.js
• Frontend: JavaScript frameworks (React/Angular or equivalent)
• Integration: REST APIs, event-based integration patterns
• Build high-quality, performant, and maintainable code following best practices.
• Create reusable components, libraries, and frameworks to accelerate development.

3. Cloud-Native Engineering

• Design and deploy applications using cloud-native principles (containerization, scalability, resiliency).
• Work with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP) for:
• Application hosting
• Managed services integration
