The Team
Enterprise Technology and Performance is a Service Area comprising of Consulting professionals providing various service offerings on Finance, Supply Chain, SAP, Oracle and Project/Program Management.
Work you’ll do
Scrum master should be able to create the environment for a team to deliver value, be highly independent, confident in their abilities and flexible enough to adapt to an evolving landscape.
Ø Responsible for ensuring Scrum is understood and the team adheres to Scrum practice, and guidelines.
Ø Works with Multiple Scrum Teams, as well as internal and external stakeholders, to influence and drive decision making and support organizational project or product teams.
Ø Facilitates and supports all scrum events: Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective.
Ø Removing impediments or guiding the team to remove impediments.
Ø Facilitating discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution.
Ø Supporting and educating the Product Owner, especially on grooming and maintaining the product backlog.
Ø Providing all support to the team using a servant leadership style whenever possible and leading by example.
Ø Scrum is understood and the team adheres to Scrum theory, practice, and guidelines.
Ø Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency.
Ø Adept at refinement, story splitting, estimation, velocity, retrospection, and other Scrum techniques.
Ø Planning and problem-solving involving product management and delivery teams.
Ø Assisting with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information on team performance and progress using key Agile metrics.
Ø Working with the Product Owner to align team with product vision and sprint goals and participate in product backlog preparation activities.
Ø Mitigate risks and communicate to leaders using best practices in Agile.
Ø Instill continuous improvement activities to reduce waste and increase productivity.
Ø Leverage skills from coaching, facilitation, conflict resolution and more to guide teams to embrace Agile mindset.
Ø Handle the escalations and conflict within the project team.
Ø Experience working with geographically dispersed clients.
Ø Excellent communication and articulation skills.
Key Skills required:
Ø Typical Experience: Total 4-9 years in IT with 3-6 years of experience in managing projects through the entire lifecycle.
Ø Hands on experience as Scrum Master/ Agile Project Manager for at least for 3-4 years.
Ø Hands on experience in Software Life Cycle (SDLC), waterfall, hybrid and agile projects
Ø Experience in using Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, Lean Agile frameworks.
Ø SAFe/ CSM / PSM equivalent certification.
Ø Bachelors in Engineering / MBA.
Ø PMP® certification, Agile or SAFe certification preferred.
Ø The experience in applying a wide variety of well-documented patterns and techniques to enhance the Scrum approach (e.g. Estimation Techniques, progress visualization techniques, retrospective formats, approaches for handling bugs, etc.).
Ø Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Ø Excellent coaching and mentoring skills
