Enterprise Technology and Performance is a Service Area comprising of Consulting professionals providing various service offerings on ServiceNow.

 

Work you’ll do

 

The ServiceNow IRM Business Analyst is responsible for gathering requirements, designing solutions, and supporting the implementation of the ServiceNow Integrated Risk Management (IRM) / Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) modules. The role partners with business stakeholders, technical teams, and process owners to ensure successful delivery of IRM capabilities that enhance risk, compliance, and audit operations.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering

    • Engage with stakeholders to understand business needs across Risk, Compliance, Policy Management, Vendor Risk, Audit, and BCM.
    • Document functional and non-functional requirements for IRM-related implementations.
    • Translate business processes into ServiceNow workflows, data models, and IRM capabilities.
    • Create user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flow diagrams.

    Solution Design & Configuration Support

    • Work with ServiceNow architects and developers to design IRM solutions.
    • Support configuration of IRM applications such as:
    • Policy & Compliance Management
    • Risk Management
    • Issues & Remediation
    • Vendor Risk Management
    • Audit Management
    • Controls, Indicators, and Risk Scoring
    • Participate in design workshops, demos, and sprint reviews.

    Implementation & Delivery

    • Collaborate with development teams during sprints to ensure requirements are clearly understood.
    • Validate developed features and perform UAT coordination.
    • Drive backlog grooming, sprint planning, and prioritization.

    Process Optimization

    • Assess current state processes and recommend improvements using IRM best practices.
    • Support data model optimization, workflow streamlining, and automation opportunities.
    • Create and maintain documentation: SOPs, user guides, process flows.

    Stakeholder Management & Governance

    • Serve as a liaison between business teams and ServiceNow technical teams.
    • Ensure alignment with governance models, compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, SOX, NIST, etc.), and enterprise risk policies.
    • Provide training and end-user adoption support.

 

Key Skills required:

 

  • Education - UG and Above, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in ServiceNow IRM/GRC.
  • Strong understanding of key IRM modules:
  • Policies, Controls, and Compliance
  • Risk Register & Risk Assessments
  • Indicators/Continuous Monitoring
  • Vendor Risk & Audit modules (preferred)
  • Ability to read and interpret data models, tables, relationships, and workflows in ServiceNow.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow reporting, dashboarding, and performance analytics.
