Job Title: Assistant Manager | F&A Operate: Record to Report | Bengaluru Eco space | Finance Transformation
1) Overview
Senior Team Lead will be responsible for ensuring completion of delivery of day-to-day transactions and activities within the Record-to-Report (R2R) function/process, (for e.g., GL Accounting, Period End Close, Reporting, etc.)
Key responsibilities for the Sr Team Lead will include:
· Perform day-to-day delivery of R2R processes, sub-processes, activities, and transactions. Ensure books are closed on time.

Supporting Actions
Service Delivery
Knowledge to perform and deliver one or more of the following R2R activities:
· GL Accounting
o Statistics data entry / uploads
o Process or review Journal Entries
o Support Monthly and Annual Close Processes
o Assist various departments in accounting issues and queries.
o Record/Review Fixed assets, intercompany transactions.
o Follow-up on open items or outstanding items
o Co-ordinate with other teams. Ensure books are closed on time.
o Propose and execute initiatives to streamline workflows
· Period End Close, Reporting
o Support in period-end reports (i.e. monthly, quarterly, annually)
o Management and tracking of the month close checklist.
o Perform/Review reconciliations, bank reconciliations including BS reconciliations.
o Provide accounting support to BU on ad hoc basis
o Support in schedules and financial statements preparation
o Perform/Assist in GL review during the close
o Prepare/Review monthly reporting packs.
o Prepare/Review flux reports.
o Complete any surveys as and when requested by clients.
o Ensure timeliness and accuracy SLAs are met.
· Internal Controls
o Support the team in implementing suggested internal controls or SOX controls.
o Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in accounting operations.
o Prepare and review process documentations. Ensure all process documents are up to date.
· Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting principles, and relevant regulations.
· Train new team members on the processes.
· Stay informed about changes in accounting standards and best practices in R2R function.
· People management
· Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stake holders.
· Support auditors by supplying requested documents.
Support to Manager
Support Manager (as required) in areas such as:
· Operational Excellence
· Process Improvements
· Reporting
· Client Management / Escalations
3) Attributes Required
Experience
Qualifications
· 9-12 years of previous work experience
· Freshers – basic accounting knowledge and computer skills / MS Office
· Basic / working knowledge of Finance processes
· Effective communication, problem solving and analytical skills.
· Prior experience in BPO sector (preferred)
· R2R function specific knowledge (preferred)
· B. Com / BBA / BMS or similar three-year graduate course
