Your work profile
As an Assistant Manager – Payroll & Compliance, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end payroll operations, ensuring statutory compliance, handling audits, and driving process improvements. You will act as a key stakeholder between HR, Finance, and external vendors to ensure accurate and timely payroll delivery.
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing including monthly payroll, arrears, incentives, bonuses, and full & final settlements.
- India Payroll, Payroll Compliances and Labour compliances for very large employee count.
- Review payroll inputs, validations, reconciliations, and final payroll sign-off.
- Ensure statutory compliance: PF, ESI, PT, LWF, TDS, gratuity, and labour law filings.
- Handle payroll audits, statutory audits, and internal audits
- Manage payroll systems such as GreytHR, Darwinbox, Keka, Zoho People, ADP, PeopleStrong, or similar HRMS platforms.
- Prepare payroll MIS, dashboards, variance analysis, and management reports.
- Handle complex employee payroll queries and escalations.
Key skills required:
- Graduation is must (BA/BCOM/BAF or any other equivalent qualification)
- 5-8 years of experience in Payroll.
- Strong hands-on experience in Indian payroll and statutory compliance.
