Role Profile:

 Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership of Project Accounting: Lead the project accounting function across multiple portfolios, ensuring all accounting entries, cost capitalization, accruals, allocations, and reconciliations comply with IFRS/GAAP and corporate policies.
• Financial Governance & Ledger Oversight: Establish and enforce controls to maintain the accuracy and integrity of project ledgers and financial statements.
• Complex Cash Flow & IFCA Oversight: Oversee comprehensive cash flow reconciliations and IFCA transaction management, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant financial reporting.
• Budgeting, Forecasting & Strategic Financial Planning: Lead the development and management of project budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans aligned with corporate objectives.
• Executive Reporting & Financial Analysis: Prepare, review, and present high-level financial reports, variance analyses, and forecasts to executive leadership and stakeholders.
• Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with senior business leaders, project managers, procurement, treasury, and finance teams to align financial strategies and resolve complex financial issues.
• Month-End & Year-End Close Oversight: Direct and ensure accuracy and timeliness of all month-end and year-end closing activities related to project accounting.
• Audit & Regulatory Compliance: Lead audit preparation and compliance initiatives, ensuring adherence to SOX and other regulatory standards; respond proactively to audit findings.
• Process Excellence & Automation: Drive continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging technology and process redesign to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and controls within project accounting.
• Leadership & Talent Development: Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing project accounting team, fostering a culture of accountability, learning, and innovation.
• Strategic Financial Advisory: Act as a strategic partner to senior management, providing financial insights and recommendations that drive project and organizational success.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s and Master degree in finance, Accounting, or related field; professional accounting certifications (CA, CPA, CMA) strongly preferred.

Experience:

• 12+ years of senior-level experience in project accounting and financial management.
• Experience in Real Estate and Manufacturing industries is highly desirable.
• Deep knowledge of IFRS/GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial governance.

Skills and Competencies:

• Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and financial acumen.
• Expertise in ERP systems (Oracle, SAP) and advanced financial reporting tools.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
