Your work

 

  • Support the Investment Services Performance Attribution Transformation, analytics and Change Management team in delivering the project initiatives.
  • Conduct detailed business analysis of performance attribution and analytics processes, including business workflows, data flows, calculation methodologies, controls and reporting requirements.
  • Gather, analyse and document business and functional requirements for change initiatives and product enhancements.
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications, process maps, user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders across Investment Services Operations, Investment Analytics, Compliance, Global Technology and Product teams.
  • Identify process improvements and develop appropriate business and technology solutions aligned with defined objectives.
  • Manage the end-to-end change lifecycle, including requirements gathering, impact assessment, prioritisation, solution design and implementation planning.
  • Assess the impact of proposed changes on upstream and downstream systems, data, calculations, controls and reports.
  • Facilitate stakeholder workshops and product-enhancement discussions to align requirements and resolve issues.
  • Monitor the progress of change initiatives and proactively identify, escalate and mitigate risks, issues and delivery delays.
  • Execute functional testing, data validation and reconciliation to confirm the accuracy and completeness of implemented solutions.
  • Coordinate UAT cycles, including test planning, environment and data readiness, assist business users with test-script execution, execution tracking and defect management.
  • Track defects, UAT sign-offs and business-readiness confirmations ahead of implementation.
  • Respond to domain-specific user queries and support the investigation and resolution of production issues.
  • Maintain clear project documentation, status reporting, RAID logs and traceability from requirements through testing and implementation.
  • Use SQL and analytical techniques to investigate data issues, validate calculation results and support root-cause analysis.

Key skills required: 

 

  • Experience Require: Minimum 10 years of experience in performance Attribution area
  • Knowledge of performance measurement and attribution methodologies—including TWR, MWR/IRR/ Net IRR, Modified Dietz, TVPI, Brinson attribution, alpha/beta analysis, and trading-versus-accounting attribution.
  • Performance Attribution experience in Private markets would be preferable
  • Strong understanding of performance measurement, performance attribution and investment analytics.
  • Knowledge of attribution methodologies, benchmarks, portfolio returns and investment-performance calculations.
  • Understanding of investment-management processes and front-to-back investment data flows.
  • Experience analysing positions, transactions, cash flows, valuations, benchmarks, market data and reference data.
  • Ability to assess the impact of data or methodology changes on attribution calculations and client reporting.
  • Strong understanding of the complete change-management lifecycle including agile, scrum, Business Analysis, Project Management, Product Ownership responsibilities

Technical Skills

  • Strong SQL skills for data extraction, analysis, reconciliation and validation.
  • Experience working with large and complex investment datasets.
  • Knowledge of data mapping, lineage, interfaces and data-quality controls.
  • Familiarity with APIs, ETL processes and data-warehouse concepts.
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence or similar change-management tools.
  • Familiarity with performance and attribution platforms such as FactSet, Bloomberg PORT, MSCI Barra, Eagle, Aladdin or similar solutions is desirable.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder-management capabilities.
  • Ability to coordinate effectively across Operations, Analytics, Compliance, Product and Technology teams.
  • Strong workshop facilitation, documentation and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a global delivery team.
