Your work profile
In our BPS Tax team you’ll build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients with the intention to exceed client expectations. Your role will include:
- Supervising a team of executives involved in maintenance of books of account in accounting software like Tally/SAP or MS Navisio
- Payroll processing and suggesting way to make the system efficient and introduce relevant controls
- Preparation of Monthly MIS and reconciliations etc.

- We are looking for a proactive and process-driven HR Operations Manager to lead and streamline HR service delivery for our vendor workforce across multiple locations. The ideal candidate will have experience in the Indian e-commerce ecosystem and will be responsible for overseeing vendor employee lifecycle activities — including onboarding, exit, and grievance redressal — while ensuring 100% accurate and timely payroll processing through third-party vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Vendor Employee Lifecycle Management
- Manage end-to-end onboarding process for vendor employees, ensuring compliance with documentation and induction protocols.
- Coordinate with vendor partners to execute smooth offboarding and exit formalities including final settlements.
- Track vendor workforce movement and maintain real-time dashboards for manpower visibility across functions.
2. Payroll Governance & Compliance
- Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing for vendor employees in coordination with third-party payroll vendors.
- Validate payroll inputs and outputs, and manage exception reports and approvals.
- Review statutory deductions and ensure compliance with Indian labour laws (EPF, ESIC, PT, LWF, TDS, etc.).
- Liaise with Finance and vendors to address payroll discrepancies and ensure on-time disbursements.
3. Grievance Management & Employee Support
- Act as the first point of contact for resolving vendor employee grievances related to HR, payroll, attendance, or benefits.
- Ensure adherence to SLA and TAT norms for grievance resolution.
- Conduct periodic feedback sessions and surveys to enhance employee satisfaction.
4. Stakeholder & Vendor Management
- Maintain effective working relationships with internal stakeholders (Operations, Legal, Compliance) and external manpower vendors.
- Monitor vendor performance through defined KPIs (attrition, absenteeism, payroll accuracy, compliance scores).
- Conduct monthly governance reviews and audits with vendors.
5. Data Management & Reporting
- Maintain and update accurate employee records and HR MIS dashboards.
- Generate regular reports on workforce strength, attrition, attendance, payroll metrics, and grievance trends.
- Drive digital initiatives to automate and improve operational processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR / Business Administration; MBA in HR preferred.
- 5–8 years of relevant experience in HR operations, preferably in high-volume, blue/grey-collar workforce environments (e-commerce, logistics, retail, manufacturing).
- Strong understanding of vendor management, Indian statutory laws, and payroll practices.
- Proficient in Excel, HRMS platforms (Darwinbox, Zoho People, Bluetree, Staqo, etc.).
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Attributes:
- Experience working with third-party workforce models.
- Exposure to grievance redressal tools or helpdesk systems.
- Knowledge of labour law audits, vendor SLAs, and workforce compliance requirements.
Location and way of working.
- Base location: Mumbai/ Gurgaon/Kolkata/ Bangalore/ Coimbatore.
- This profile involves frequent travelling to client locations.
