Your work profile

As Deputy Manager in our Cyber Team you’ll build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients with the intention to exceed client expectations: -

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • 08*5 analysis of the alerts escalated by the L2 or L1 Team
  • Lead the response to critical security incidents.
  • Coordinate with other teams to contain, mitigate, and remediate incidents.
  • Develop and execute advanced incident response strategies and playbooks.
  • Gather and analyze evidence from compromised systems.
  • Conduct malware analysis to understand the behavior and impact of malicious code.
  • Analyze logs, network traffic, and other data sources to trace the origins of attacks.
  • Proactively hunt for threats within the network and endpoints.
  • Utilize threat intelligence to identify emerging threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Develop and refine threat detection use cases and signatures.
  • Perform in-depth root cause analysis to understand how incidents occurred and their impact.
  • Identify security gaps and weaknesses exploited by attackers.
  • Provide recommendations for improving security controls and preventing future incidents.
  • Work closely with other IT and security teams to coordinate response efforts.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to L1 and L2 analysts.
  • Document all actions taken during incident response in detail.
  • Prepare comprehensive incident reports and post-incident reviews.
  • Communicate findings, impact, and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Evaluate and recommend new security tools and technologies to enhance incident response capabilities.
  • Continuously improve incident response processes and playbooks.
  • Develop automation scripts to streamline incident response tasks.
  • Conduct training sessions for SOC staff to improve their incident response skills.
  • Stay current with the latest threats, attack techniques, and security best practices.
  • Participate in industry conferences, workshops, and training programs.

 

Skills Required:

  • Deep understanding of networking, operating systems, and security principles.
  • Expertise in digital forensics, malware analysis, and reverse engineering.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in using advanced security tools and technologies.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations and make critical decisions.
  • Continuous learning mindset to stay updated with the evolving threat landscape.
  • The L3 Incident investigator shall have minimum7 years of experience in Incident response, possess at least one of the following certifications,

1) CHFI

2) GCFA

3) GCFE

4) CISSP

 

Desired qualifications

  • Education B.E / B.Tech (Tier 1/2) in Computer Science, Information Technology or related fields

 

Experience :- 6 to 9 years


Location and way of working

  • Base location: Koramangala - Bangalore (mandatory client deputation)
  • Professional is required to work from office
