The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in implementing data ingestion and transformation pipelines for large-scale organizations. We are seeking someone with deep technical skills in a variety of technologies to play an important role in developing and delivering early proofs of concept and production implementation.

You will get good experience in building solutions using a variety of open-source tools on a cloud platform and a proven track record in delivering high-quality work to tight deadlines.

 

Job Summary:

 

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Associate Director to lead our GCP and Cloud Engineering initiatives. This role demands a strategic thinker with deep technical expertise in GCP cloud services, CI/CD automation, infrastructure as code, and cloud-native application delivery. You will be responsible for driving DevOps maturity across teams, architecting scalable cloud solutions, and ensuring operational excellence in deployment and monitoring.

 


Key Responsibilities

 

  • Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of CI/CD pipelines using GCP and other orchestration tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD).
  • Architect and manage GCP infrastructure using Landing Zones and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM templates, Bicep, Ansible).
  • Oversee deployment of microservices in Kubernetes environments (AKS), including orchestration and Helm chart management.
  • Define and enforce branching strategies aligned with Agile release cycles and enterprise governance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of DevOps practices across development, QA, and operations.
  • Mentor and guide DevOps engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Ensure compliance with cloud security and governance standards.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and drive their adoption where relevant.

 

Required Skills & Experience

 

  • 8–14 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or related leadership roles.
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with GCP and Azure cloud services.
  • Strong expertise in CI/CD tools, Git, and scripting (PowerShell, Bash, YAML/JSON).
  • Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, Bicep, Ansible).
  • Solid understanding of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and enterprise delivery models.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

 

Preferred Qualifications

 

  • GCP certifications are preferred
  • Exposure to cloud security and compliance frameworks.
  • Experience in managing large-scale cloud migration or transformation projects.
