The Digital Excellence Centre is responsible for building products and platforms for Deloitte India that focuses on providing extraordinary customer experience by putting design thinking with trailblazing technology in the center of what they do. The diverse team consists of subject matter experts, technology specialists, quality engineers, user experience researchers & designers, data scientists and product managers

Your work profile

As an Executive in our DEC Team you’ll build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients with the intention to exceed client expectations: -

• Work on software implementation, application support, and basic web application development for client-facing systems.
• Understand client business requirements and translate them into product configurations, workflows, and technical implementation solutions.
• Apply fundamentals of data structures, algorithms, and problem-solving to troubleshoot and optimize application behavior.
• Develop, customize, and support features using Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, and SQL.
• Work with web technologies such as React.js, Node.js, or FastAPI to support modern web applications (exposure preferred).
• Integrate systems using REST APIs and manage data flow across RDBMS and NoSQL databases.
• Assist in deploying, configuring, and supporting applications on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Troubleshoot implementation and production issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact to clients.
• Support client onboarding, training, and system integrations in a client-facing technical role.
• Follow security and data protection best practices while handling application data and configurations.

Key Skills required 

• 0–2 years of experience in software implementation, application support, or web application development.
• Basic understanding of data structures, algorithms, and problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, and SQL.
• Ability to understand client requirements and translate them into product configurations, workflows, and implementation solutions.
• Hands-on exposure to web technologies such as React.js, Node.js, or FastAPI is a plus.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, data integrations, and working with RDBMS/NoSQL databases.
• Experience or exposure to deploying or configuring applications on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Ability to troubleshoot implementation issues, support deployments, and assist in client onboarding and integrations.
• Understanding of security and data protection best practices.
• Ability to write clean, reusable, and testable code when required.
• Experience with unit testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, or PyTest is a plus.
• Comfortable working in Agile environments, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and eager to learn and grow in a client-facing technical role.
