The team
The Digital Excellence Centre is responsible for building products and platforms for Deloitte India that focuses on providing extraordinary customer experience by putting design thinking with trailblazing technology in the center of what they do. The diverse team consists of subject matter experts, technology specialists, quality engineers, user experience researchers & designers, data scientists and product managers
Job summary:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Executive – Governance to support Agile delivery processes, with a focus on ensuring governance, transparency and efficiency across internally built digital assets.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience or deep understanding of Agile Scrum methodologies and will work closely with Scrum teams to monitor sprint performance, maintain compliance with governance standards and drive continuous improvement using tools like Azure DevOps.
Key Responsibilities:
- Agile Governance Support:
- Ensure Agile Scrum ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives) are aligned with governance policies.
- Track and report key Agile metrics (velocity, burndown, team capacity) to leadership.
- Facilitate adherence to delivery standards and best practices across product teams.
- Scrum Master Collaboration:
- Support Scrum Masters and Product Owners in backlog hygiene and sprint readiness.
- Coordinate cross-team dependencies and highlight risks or blockers to delivery.
- Azure DevOps Management:
- Monitor work item lifecycle in Azure DevOps (user stories, tasks, bugs).
- Maintain dashboards, reports, and documentation related to sprints and delivery governance.
- Ensure teams are effectively using ADO boards and automation features.
- Internal Asset Oversight:
- Track lifecycle and usage of internally developed platforms/products.
- Collaborate with engineering, QA, and product teams to ensure assets meet governance and compliance needs.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to enhance Agile processes through automation, tooling, or updated frameworks.
- Conduct periodic retrospectives to recommend governance enhancements.
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field.
- Solid knowledge of Azure DevOps – boards, queries, dashboards.
- Understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum and Kanban).
- Strong analytical and documentation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and coordination abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Scrum Master Certification (CSM).
- Experience with tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps.
- Exposure to enterprise governance models or PMO functions.
