The team
The Digital Excellence Centre (DEC) is responsible for building products and platforms for Deloitte India that focuses on providing extraordinary customer experience by putting design thinking with trailblazing technology in the center of what they do. The diverse team consists of subject matter experts, technology specialists, quality engineers, user experience researchers & designers, data scientists and product managers.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated engineer to join our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide expert-level technical support for escalated issues from L1 and L2 support teams. Investigate and resolve complex technical problems related to the Assets developed by DEC.
- Take ownership of critical incidents and work towards timely resolution. Ensure that all incidents are properly documented, tracked, and reported.
- Possess in-depth knowledge of the DEC assets , systems, and technologies. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Provide clear and concise updates on the status of ongoing issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as development, operations, and product management to drive product improvements and bug fixes.
- Provide training and mentorship to L1 and L2 support teams to enhance their technical skills and knowledge.
Key Skills Required:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
0-2 years of experience as software developer or software tester or support engineer
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in version control systems, particularly Git.
Knowledge of web security best practices.
Proficient in python and knowledge on JavaScript
Knowledge on REST API.
Understanding of databases and SQL queries.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in browser developer tools.
Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker.
Experience with Linux systems
