The Digital Excellence Centre is responsible for building products and platforms for Deloitte India that focuses on providing extraordinary customer experience by putting design thinking with trailblazing technology in the center of what they do. The diverse team consists of subject matter experts, technology specialists, quality engineers, user experience researchers & designers, data scientists and product managers.

Your work profile

As a Senior Executive in our Digital Excellence Centre Team you’ll build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients with the intention to exceed client expectations:

• Sound knowledge on Data Structures, Algorithms and excellent problem-solving skills.
• Should have experience in Python or JavaScript/Typescript and SQL.
• Demonstrated technical capability in developing applications using any industry-standard RDBMS/NoSQL Databases.
• Experience in JavaScript dialects like ES6 TypeScript.
• Experience in writing reusable, testable, and efficient code
• Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications
• Implementation of security and data protection best practices.
• Hands on experience on React.js, Node.js or Python
• Experience in building applications on cloud platforms like AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Experience in writing unit test cases using Jest, Mocha and PyTest frameworks
• Comfortable working in Agile methodology, eager to learn and grow
• Programming logic focused and flexible to work in different languages
• Hands on experience with Prompt Engineering is bonus

Key skills required: 

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: 1.5 years to 4 years of relevant experience in software development and building web applications.
• Develop and maintain web applications.
• Write clean, reusable, testable, and efficient code.
• Design, implement, and optimize low‑latency, high‑availability, and high‑performance applications.
• Apply industry‑standard security and data‑protection best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
• Build and integrate back‑end services with industry‑standard RDBMS or NoSQL databases.
• Deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms.
• Write and maintain unit test suites.
• Adapt quickly to different programming languages and paradigms as project needs evolve.
• Apply Prompt Engineering techniques to understand, write and test code and take ownership of the code generated by AI.
