Manager - Enabling Areas - Project Controlling - Finance & Accounts

Location - Bangalore (Ecospace)/Delhi

 

The Team

As a Manager in Project Controlling, you will play a pivotal role in driving financial discipline across cost, cash, and operational excellence initiatives. You will support the Associate Director in implementing strategic financial controls, optimizing working capital, and enabling touchless finance operations through automation and transformation.

Your Work Profile

Cost Management & Optimization

·      Conduct project-level cost analysis and identify efficiency opportunities.

·      Support implementation of cost-saving strategies in collaboration with Resource Management and Procurement.

·      Monitor cost variances and provide actionable insights to business teams.

Cash Flow & Billing Planning

·      Prepare and track cash forecasts, including billed and unbilled receivables and unapplied cash.

·      Assist in working capital optimization through receivables and payables initiatives.

·      Partner with business teams to align billing plans with engagement terms and resolve gaps between forecasts and actuals.

Financial Operations & Transformation

·      Contribute to the design and execution of touchless finance operations.

·      Define business requirements for finance automation projects and support UAT/testing.

·      Monitor ROI from tech investments and support scalable solution delivery in collaboration with Tech and COO teams.

Governance & Compliance

·      Ensure adherence to project controls and financial policies.

·      Support continuous improvement in finance processes and systems.

·      Collaborate with QRM and Delivery Excellence teams on compliance assessments.

Stakeholder Engagement

·      Work closely with service line leaders and finance teams to deliver insights and support decision-making.

·      Present financial reports and recommendations to internal stakeholders.

 

Key Skills Required

  • CA / MBA in Finance.
  • 5-8 years of experience in finance, with exposure to cost control, cash management, and finance transformation.
  • Experience in a Big 4 or large services organization preferred.
  • Experience of working with technical teams to deliver finance transformation projects, including creation of Dashboards, tool adoption, etc. will be an added advantage
  • Proficiency in SAP and advanced Excel; knowledge of FieldGlass, Anaplan, and I-certis is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
