Sr. Executive - Enabling Areas - Project Controlling - Finance & Accounts

Location - Bangalore

 

The Team

As a Senior Consultant in Project Controlling, you will support the Manager in executing financial initiatives related to cost management, cash flow optimization, and finance transformation. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial tracking, reporting, and process improvement in a highly automated environment.

 

Your Work Profile

Cost & Cash Management

·      Assist in project-level cost analysis and reporting.

·      Track and flag billed, unbilled, and unapplied cash positions; support resolution efforts.

·      Support working capital initiatives through data analysis and stakeholder coordination.

·      Help monitor cost and cash variances and escalate issues as needed.

Billing & Forecasting

·      Collaborate with business teams to gather inputs for billing and revenue forecasts.

·      Analyze gaps between billing plans and actuals, and support resolution efforts.

·      Maintain documentation and dashboards for billing performance tracking.

Finance Transformation & Automation

·      Contribute to touchless finance operations by supporting automation initiatives.

·      Assist in gathering business requirements and coordinating UAT/testing activities.

·      Work with technical teams to ensure smooth deployment of finance tools and dashboards.

Governance & Compliance

·      Ensure adherence to financial controls and compliance standards.

·      Support internal reviews and audits related to cost and cash processes.

Collaboration & Reporting

·      Prepare reports and presentations for internal stakeholders.

·      Coordinate with service line teams, procurement, and resource management to support financial operations.

 

 

Key Skills Required

·      CA / MBA in Finance or equivalent.

·      Big 4 articleship experience or 2 years of experience in finance, preferably in a services or consulting environment.

·      Working knowledge of SAP and Excel; familiarity with FieldGlass, Anaplan, or I-certis is a plus.

·      Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.

·      Experience in finance transformation or automation projects is desirable.
