Senior Executive - Enabling Areas - External Communication - Growth Office

The Team

The External Communications Specialist will serve as key point of contact for Deloitte’s subject matter experts, supporting the creation of eminence through marketing campaigns, media engagement, social media, and other external opportunities. The role includes assisting in integrated marketing campaigns, media relations, and supporting the Marketing, Brand & Communications team as needed.

 

Your Work Profile

  • Execute media campaigns; coordinate with PR partners.
  • Partner with subject matter experts and the Marketing, Brand & Communications team to develop communication strategies and tactical plans.
  • Create communication materials such as press releases, pitch notes, scripts, and multimedia content.
  • Support annual strategic plans for media visibility and industry participation.
  • Build media relationships; act as the point of contact for key journalists in Bangalore/ Mumbai.
  • Support partnership opportunities with chambers of commerce.
  • Suggest and implement new communication tools and approaches.
  • Assist with events (online and on-ground) and other communications tasks.
  • Track and share key media developments from the region.

 

Key Skills Required

  • A professional with 2-3 years’ experience
  • Holds a bachelor’s degree.
  • Experience in public relations, with a PR firm, large organisation or a professional services firm would be preferred.
  • Proficient in English and one another language – speak, write, and edit.
  • Experience in working with multiple teams simultaneously
