Job Title: Executive Director | Oracle | Bengaluru | Engineering
Role Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned and entrepreneurial Partner/Executive Director to lead and scale our Cloud & Hybrid Infrastructure Practice. This is a leadership role with end-to-end responsibility for practice strategy, client success, partner alliances, and talent development. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise across public cloud, on-prem/hybrid infrastructure, and AI/GPU platforms—and a track record of advising CxOs and delivering enterprise-scale transformation programs.
This role is central to shaping the future of infrastructure services at the convergence of cloud, AI, and edge—while building a market-leading, high-performance team.
Key Responsibilities:
Practice Strategy & P&L Ownership
- Define and execute a multi-year vision and growth strategy for the hybrid cloud and AI infrastructure practice.
- Own practice-level P&L, including revenue, profitability, and investment planning.
- Develop differentiated service offerings and accelerators across cloud, hybrid, data centre modernization, and AI/ML infrastructure.
Client Engagement & Market Leadership
- Serve as a strategic advisor to Fortune 500 clients and government entities on infrastructure modernization, hybrid cloud strategy, and AI platform enablement.
- Drive executive-level relationships and long-term account growth by positioning infrastructure as a core enabler of business innovation.
- Represent the firm at industry events, analyst briefings, and client forums as a thought leader.
Delivery Oversight & Technical Governance
- Provide executive oversight for high-impact infrastructure programs including cloud migration, software-defined data center (SDDC), private/hybrid cloud adoption, and AI/ML compute platforms.
- Ensure architectural excellence, delivery quality, and client satisfaction on all engagements.
- Sponsor internal review boards and innovation councils to shape reusable frameworks and IP.
Talent Leadership & Capability Building
- Attract, retain, and develop top talent in cloud architecture, infrastructure engineering, AI/ML platforms, and GPU operations.
- Mentor leaders across geographies and disciplines, fostering a culture of technical excellence, inclusion, and continuous learning.
- Lead internal capability development in areas like Kubernetes, FinOps, AIOps, HPC, and sustainability.
Alliances & Ecosystem Development
- Build and expand strategic alliances with hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, GCP), OEMs (Dell, HPE, NVIDIA, Cisco), and emerging AI infrastructure providers.
- Co-create go-to-market plays, joint solutions, and thought leadership in collaboration with alliance partners.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies in AI accelerators, edge computing, sovereign cloud, and green data center design.
Qualifications:
Experience
- 18+ years of experience in infrastructure/cloud technology leadership roles, with at least 3 years at Partner, VP, or Practice Head level.
- Proven track record of building and scaling a high-growth cloud or hybrid infrastructure practice.
- Deep, hands-on understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), virtualization, networking, and storage.
- Expertise in GPU infrastructure (NVIDIA A100/H100, DGX, etc.), AI/ML compute environments, and hybrid/multi-cloud architectures.
- Strong familiarity with enterprise platforms (SAP, Oracle, VMware) and their transition to cloud/hybrid environments.
Leadership & Business Acumen
- Demonstrated success in owning and growing a $5M+ portfolio , with strong client references.
- Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and executive presence.
- Deep understanding of industry trends and regulatory environments across sectors (e.g., Financial Services, Healthcare, Manufacturing).
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s or MBA preferred).
- Relevant technical certifications: AWS/Azure/GCP Architect, VMware, Kubernetes, NVIDIA AI certifications (preferred).
