We are seeking a highly accomplished Executive Director – UI/UX with over 20 years of intensive experience in building and scaling UI/UX capabilities. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering complex, end-to-end UI/UX programs across global markets and leading large, high-performing teams. This role requires a strong blend of strategic vision, design leadership, operational excellence, and stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership:
• Define and drive the organization’s UI/UX vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with business objectives and global standards.
• End-to-End Delivery:
• Lead the successful execution of complex UI/UX engagements across geographies, ensuring high-quality design outcomes, usability, and consistency.
• Capability Building:
• Establish and scale UI/UX capabilities, frameworks, design systems, and best practices across the organization.
• Team Leadership:
• Manage and mentor large, cross-functional UI/UX teams, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
• Stakeholder Management:
• Partner with senior business leaders, product teams, engineering, and global clients to translate business requirements into impactful user experiences.
• Design Excellence:
• Champion user-centered design principles, ensuring best-in-class experiences across web, mobile, and omnichannel platforms.
• Operational Governance:
• Implement robust delivery governance, metrics, and quality assurance processes to ensure timely and efficient project execution.
• Innovation & Trends:
• Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and design innovations to continuously enhance UI/UX capabilities.

Key Requirements

• 20+ years of progressive experience in UI/UX design and leadership roles.
• Proven experience delivering large-scale, complex UI/UX programs across multiple geographies.
• Strong expertise in design thinking, user research, interaction design, and visual design.
• Demonstrated experience in building and managing large UI/UX teams (50+ members preferred).
• Experience working with global stakeholders and cross-cultural teams.
• Strong understanding of modern design tools, design systems, and front-end technologies.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution when required.
