Your work profile

As an Executive in our tax technology team focusing on automation of processes and compliances pertaining to direct taxes, you’ll build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients with the intention to exceed client expectations: -

To have in depth knowledge of tax technology tools, Deloitte systems, standard processes, tool user manuals, internal system workflows and access; and ensure response to the tasks raised by various teams.

Assistance to the team in development/ enhancement of a tax technology solution in direct tax domain

·        Preparation of Business Requirement Document (BRD) and discussing it seniors and developers

·        Reviewing user stories and aligning the same with BRD including documenting all acceptance criteria

·        Understanding the project requirements and performing User Acceptance Testing (UAT), regular testing on software applications.

·        Identifying and reporting bugs, errors, and defects in the system and communicate same to the developers in targeted timelines and tracking them to resolution.

·        Review of documentation including test plans, test cases, and testing documentation in accordance with project timelines and standards. Ensure completeness from documentation perspective.

·        Timely updating seniors on progress on development, challenges, etc

·        Undertake Proof-of-concept based on sample data received from the client and process the same from the tool and share report with the clients

·        Take ownership of work and ensure the timelines are met maintaining the quality of the deliverables.

·        Timely review of the time cost tracker on a real-time basis, capturing the vitals of the ticket raised on systems and ensure targeted utilisation of team on projects.

·        Provide ideas, innovative solutions to enhancement the tools and bring more automation in tax areas.

Desired qualifications

• • Graduates/Semi-Qualified C.A/C.S/MBA(Finance) with 1-4 years of Experience in Direct Taxation
  • Good Technical Knowledge

  • Persistent and persuasive

Location and way of working

• Base location: Bangalore/Chennai/Hyderabad
• This profile involves occasional travelling to client locations.
