Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced QA & Test Management professional to lead end-to-end testing engagements for BFSI clients. The role focuses on driving quality transformation, establishing scalable testing frameworks, and ensuring successful delivery of large-scale digital and core system programs.

Key Responsibilities

Test Strategy & Governance

• Define and implement enterprise-wide test strategies aligned with business and IT transformation goals
• Lead requirement analysis, test estimation, and planning for complex programs
• Establish test governance models, KPIs, and quality metrics
• Drive defect management processes including triage, root cause analysis, and resolution tracking

Test Delivery & Execution

• Oversee functional testing lifecycle including test scripting, execution, and validation
• Manage test progress monitoring, reporting, and stakeholder communication
• Lead Go/No-Go decision-making based on quality thresholds and risk assessments
• Ensure testing sign-offs and release readiness across multiple workstreams

Testing Lifecycle Management

• Drive all phases of testing including:
  • System Testing
  • Integration Testing
  • System Integration Testing (SIT)
  • Regression Testing
  • User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Provide UAT support and coordinate with business users for validation and sign-offs

Stakeholder & Program Management

• Collaborate with business, IT, and vendor teams to ensure alignment and delivery excellence
• Manage large, distributed teams and multi-vendor environments
• Act as a primary point of contact for QA governance in client engagements

Automation & Quality Transformation

• Lead test automation strategy and implementation using tools like TOSCA
• Drive automation adoption and shift-left testing practices
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction
• Build reusable testing assets and accelerators

Tools & Technologies

• Test Management: JIRA, Confluence, HP ALM QC
• Automation: TOSCA (Level 1 & Level 2 Certified)
• Methodologies: Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid models

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong expertise in QA/Test Management and Functional Testing
• Experience in BFSI domain (Banking, Insurance, Capital Markets)
• Deep understanding of test lifecycle, defect management, and release governance
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to manage large-scale transformation programs
• Analytical mindset with focus on quality and risk mitigation

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in consulting firms or large BFSI organizations preferred
• Certifications in Agile/Scrum or PMP are a plus
