Job Description:
- Extensive experience in IRRBB frameworks, supporting methodology, governance, and policy implementation and driving strategic initiatives in collaboration with Regional and Global Treasury teams.
- Strong expertise in leading IRRBB change and transformation programs, including governance design, decision-making forums, and alignment with 2LOD policy requirements.
- Proven capability in IRRBB analytics and stress testing, assessing EVE/NII impacts, balance sheet sensitivities, and regulatory capital implications through robust modelling approaches.
- Demonstrated strength in risk identification, RCA and control enhancement, along with driving process optimization and data/reporting improvements across IRRBB and treasury functions.
- Hands-on performing Feasibility Analysis, Initial Project Assessment (IPA), Process Design Documents (PDD), Solution Design Document (SDD) etc. and presenting to the senior management for an opportunity to improve the current operating model.
- Strong communication skill to build networking, developing, and nurturing key working relationships with Region, Countries, Functions and Global Business Stakeholders by anticipating and identifying their needs.
- Strong experience in creating BRDs, FSDs, Test Cases and performing Unit Testing (UT), System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for large scale finance and regulatory transformation/remediation projects for global banks.
- Strong experience in leading the continuing development, implementation and improvement of the processes, structures, capabilities, capacity and infrastructure needed to deliver agreed plans and targets, collaborating with multiple stakeholders to maximize end to end integration, effectiveness and efficiency.
- Establishing and maintaining a robust and efficient control environment to ensure good operational, financial and project management and compliance with bank’s policy and procedures, together with early identification and effective resolution or escalation of issues that arise.
- Very good in building positive stakeholder relationships by providing regular updates, obtain buy-in from project sponsor and driving Steering Committees etc. for all key project plans, commitments, and changes including requirements.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- 10 to 14 years of experience in IRRBB, Liquidity and Stress Testing reporting execution and delivery in Global Banks.
- Experience with IRRBB systems, data, and modelling infrastructure, coupled with strong product knowledge of banking book instruments and structural hedging frameworks, with a mandatory focus on key metrics such as NII and EVE.
- Execution orientated: proactive escalation of issues whilst maintaining a solution-focused mindset and flexible approach
- Project management methodologies like Waterfall and Agile would be preferred.
- Experience in Power BI and Alteryx will be viewed favorably.
- Qualification – Any Graduate, Postgraduate accounting qualification, CA or MBA.
- Can work effectively independently and as part of a team.
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication skill and ability to engage with all levels of management including non-technical stakeholders.
