Job Title:  Lead Data Scientist - 1 | Data Engineering | Bengaluru | TTC - DOMESTIC

Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Data Scientist to work on AWS‑based Data Lakehouse platforms, focusing on predictive analytics, statistical modeling, and machine learning solutions. The role requires hands‑on expertise in building, training, evaluating, and deploying models using AWS SageMaker, along with the ability to translate complex business problems into data‑driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize predictive and machine learning models using curated data from AWS Data Lakehouse
• Perform advanced exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies
• Develop models for forecasting, classification, regression, recommendation, or anomaly detection
• Use AWS SageMaker for model training, evaluation, tuning, and deployment
• Collaborate with data engineers to ensure reliable feature availability and data quality
• Validate model accuracy, stability, and performance; monitor and improve models post‑deployment
• Translate analytical results into business insights and recommendations for stakeholders
• Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to best practices in analytics and modeling

Required Skills & Experience

• 5–8 years of experience in Data Science / Advanced Analytics
• Strong hands‑on experience with Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit‑learn, etc.)
• Solid understanding of:
• Statistics and probability
• Supervised and unsupervised learning techniques
• Feature engineering and model evaluation
• Proven experience using AWS SageMaker for model development and deployment
• Strong SQL skills for analytical querying on Lakehouse datasets
• Experience working with AWS Data Lakehouse environments
• Ability to clearly communicate insights to technical and non‑technical audiences
• Experience working in Agile teams

Nice to Have

• Experience with MLOps concepts (model versioning, monitoring, retraining)
• Exposure to AWS analytics services (Redshift, Athena, S3)
• Experience with visualization or BI tools
• Prior mentoring or technical leadership experience
